Perfumed and cool; roses, berries and wild herbs. Shrugs delicately onto the palate, like a silk slip, with pure red cherries, raspberries and cranberries. 100% whole cluster and natural ferment magnifies clarity of red fruit and adds a whisper of stemmy spice, augmenting its lithe structure. Zippy and fresh, though not unsubstantial, with a good chew of fruit, some black berries and cherries from the high diurnal swings (and longer hangtime) that the high altitude demands. Further chiselled by 11 months in concrete, emphasising the fine backdrop of chalky tannins. No fining or filtration.
