Still in its youthful phase. No oak in this wine and it's clear immediately on the nose. Medium-bodied, straight, linear, mineral, saline and complex palate with a long, straight and tense finish. Fresh Clairette florality with a touch of almond nougat and a touch of silk on the tongue. Good acidity, not high but balanced. Tremulous, complex with no excesses. Chenin Blanc, Grenache Blanc, Clairette, Viognier, Verdelho, Roussanne, Marsanne, Semillon Gris, Semillon, Palomino and Colombard grown on granite, gravels and sandstone. Grapes were pressed in a basket press, with juice run off into clay amphora and concrete eggs for 12 months. A further 12 months in big old oak foudres after that. Spontaneous fermentation, no additives, no fining or filtration.
