Bot River

Extraordinary nose: flint and hot sand; lifted, sparky perfume of rose and raspberry. Gentle to start, becoming enjoyably weighty on the palate, the tannins are exceedingly fine. The gently raised alcohol on the finish is offset by a peppery herbal basenote from the 30% whole-bunch fruit. Fruit density, lithe texture, oak (30% new) nicely integrated and harmonious.
