A very exotic, graceful Cinsault, made from 37-year-old vines. Complex aromas of incense, cigar spice, potpourri and a hint of balsamic lead to delicate, layered palate of macerated strawberries, rare meat, dusty cupboards and a burnished leather tang. It's silky-smooth with soft acidity, but the wood (15 months in barrel) sticks out a bit, masking the limpid fruit.
