This newcomer to the Sainsbury's Discovery range is the first own-label Cap Classique for Sainsbury's. A traditional method sparkler, made with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, it offers nice freshness and persistence, with creaminess to balance the citrus and green apple fruit. Lacks the complexity of top Cap Classiques, but decent for the price.
