With 25% of older wine from a perpetual reserve started in 2008, this opens with notes of melted butter, followed by tender notes of lemon. The Pinot Noir for this blend was sourced from Stellenbosch, the Chardonnay from Robertson. The wine spent just 18 months on lees and conforms to winemaker Carla Pauw's light-footed style. Notes of lemon dominate the dry finish.
