Nuance and depth in this Verdejo fermented and aged for eight months in French oak barrels. A fleshy core of nectarine, quince and russet apple, rest on a bed of frangipane, sprinkled abundantly with orange and clementine zest. An elegant, expressive frame of hay and dry wild flowers, glazed with chestnut honey, gives the wine further intensity and poise. Some interesting ageing potential here - although this is drinking so beautifully now.
