A Priorat wine that comes from clay and limestone soils, instead of classic licorella (slate). The wine is very different to its licorella cousins: brighter, almost exuberant fruit and spice aromas, a warmer style, tightly packed. The vineyard is at 800m altitude and winemaking is whole-bunch to provide more freshness. A masterpiece from one of the most distinguished winemakers in the region, Ricard Rofes. A lovely rarity that is well worth seeking out.
