There's an almost Wagnerian air to the name of the winery. The Forjas were ironworks belonging to Rodrigo Méndez's grandfather. Méndez launched the project in the early 2000s working with Raúl Pérez. The Albariños are glorious, while their elegant Atlantic reds grown on granite have plenty of crisp appeal.
