A young project (this is only the third vintage) from two members of the Fedellos do Couto. The vineyards are on either side of the Río Xares river in the upper Bibei valley. A pale cherry red in colour; slightly reduced on the nose. But the palate is a sunburst of cherry fruits lifted with vivid acidity. Gradually the flavours develop, building to a long, savoury, almost salty finish. Very impressive.
