If you think you know Macabeo, think again. Produced from 50-year-old vines and fermented and aged in stainless steel and amphorae, this a uniquely expression of the variety, all about texture and layers. Fleshy quince and conference pear rest on a bed of white grapefruit and frangipane. Jasmine and linden hover elegantly. Chalky minerality coates the mid and back palate, and carries the wine through to its long finish. Delicious.
