This is a wine that keeps lovely fruit and an impressive concentration. It is quite oaky on the nose, and velvety and intense in the mouth. It should improve after some years in the cellar. After 28 months in barrel and several years in bottle, it is technically a top gran reserva. A nice surprise, and a high point in this vintage.
