Bright, pure and intense, this is a wine with character and great sense of place. It is very fresh on the nose with aromas of red berry fruit, rose petal and stony minerality. The palate is driven by graphite freshness with chalky tannins on the finish. Hand-harvested in mid-October, the fruit – Tempranillo and Garnacha with portions of Garnatxa Blanca, Viura, Malvasía  and others – was destemmed before alcoholic fermentation in a stainless steel tank, then transferred into barrels of five different sizes for malolactic fermentation and 12 months ageing. Moreish and elegant; a modern interpretation of old viticulture in Rioja.
