A great example of one of the key wine styles that made the region great. Sweet vanilla, forest floor, leather, truffle and coconut, with dessicated fruit and a minty touch. That combination of ripe Tempranillo fruit and American oak is so unique. On the palate, the wine is silky, with soft tannins, a nice freshness and a delicate finish. This wine was released as reserva, but it is indeed a textbook gran reserva. A joy.
