Really surprising for the vintage, a wine redolent of dense and elegant fruit, with generous oak. Made with grapes from old Tempranillo vines from a very classic town, San Asensio, this is ripe, outspoken and rich. It's quite tannic, developing earthy and undergrowth notes in the finish, but worth keeping for some years. Impressive.
