<p>A legendary vintage very much in its drinking window today. Pale ruby in colour, with complex leather and undergrowth notes, but now softly spoken and needs listening to. Floral aromatics are extremely charming as is the gentle cinnamon spice. Only the second vintage of this wine in the 1970s, the other being 1972, and one where the vineyard would have had white grapes alongside the red at this point.</p>
