From one of the earliest and lowest yielding vintages. Opens with the classic cedar aromas. In the mouth it arrives plump and full, then the citrus acidity appears, followed by balsamic, wild herb, savoury flavours, with beautifully handled tannins. 2017 was a hot year but it doesn’t seem to matter. The wine rises to the challenge and rolls down to a long and vivid finish with a silky, velvety appeal. Finely balanced between savoury meatiness and freshness with fruit.
