Honorable is Gómez Cruzado’s most traditional Rioja, made from a field blend of the winery's oldest vines (over 50 years old). Predominantly Tempranillo, but also with small amounts of Garnacha, Graciano, Mazuela and Viura, aged in French barriques. Aromas of spicy black fruit and sweet cedar, followed by a silky black and red berry attack. Structured palate promises more to come with a bit of bottle age. Lovely cedar and sandalwood on the long, lingering finish.
