As the name suggests this blend of 90% Tempranillo with 10% Graciano and Garnacha is a selection from 106 barrels, chosen by winemaker Diego Pinilla. It spends 20 months in American and French oak (one-third new) with a further two years in bottle before release. That oak reveals itself as sweet cedar on the nose and palate, along with ripe black berry and black cherry aromas. The palate is soft and luscious with ripe black fruit balanced by spicy and savoury layers that become more pronounced on the finish.
