Classic Rioja reserva in many ways, from 30-year-old vines and spending two years in American, French and Russian oak. So there is vanilla and smokiness, a plushness at the heart of this, though it is medium-bodied, with a cherryish lick of acidity, tobacco and refined tannins making it smooth, quite elegant and very approachable. Tempranillo with 10% Mazuelo and 5% Garnacha.
