Made from grapes grown on pergolas in granite soils just 1km from the Atlantic coast, this flagship Albariño from Mar de Frades is a breath of fresh air in glass. Mineral style, showing great purity; kicks off with a fresh, breezy nose showing appealing peach and tropical notes. Rich citrus and stone fruit, with fresh-cut pineapple on the mid-palate. Lees texture is allied to clean minerality and underpinned by laser acidity right through to the long, fresh, limey finish. Brilliant with seafood.
