2010 was the first vintage of Balfour Brut Rosé made entirely at the Hush Heath Estate. Banana skin, sourdough and toast, apple and blood orange on the nose. Bone-dry (the recently disgorged version is in fact zero-dosage) with 10g/l of crunchy acidity, enriched with great concentration of flavours on the palate. Bruised red apple, more citrus and buttered brioche, seasoned with sweet spices and roasted nuts, leaving a long finish of almond and a touch of ginger.
