I first tasted Devon Minnow at the opening of The Pig at Bridge Place, just outside Canterbury in Kent, and was blown away.The brainchild of restaurateurs Robin Hutson and Mark Hix, it’s a subtly oaked style of Bacchus made by the team at Castlewood Vineyard. Creamy, toasted nut flavours envelop a core of glazed lemon, pink grapefruit and green herbs. Incredibly refreshing with a lovely tangy finish. Great with food, too. The magnum makes it extra decadent.
