Chapel Down’s Prestige Cuvée Blanc de Blancs gets better every year and this 2016 is the most impressive to date. Made from Chardonnay sourced from the estate’s flagship Kit’s Coty vineyard, the base wine is fermented with wild yeast and matured on lees in oak for 7 months. Supremely elegant with a savoury aroma and clotted cream texture, it has a fine but lively mousse and great ageing potential.
