A blend of 60% Pinot Noir from 2015 and 40% Pinot Meunier from 2014, hand-picked and whole-bunch pressed. It was bottled in August 2016 and disgorged from October 2018. It has a dank, appley nose with some juiciness and even a touch of underripe strawberries, with quite a rich, fruity, softly-textured palate of red apple, pear, raspberry leaf and some light touches of cream and spice. There's plenty of acidity, typical of English sparkling wine, but it's nicely folded into the body, ensuring a smooth transition from attack to finish. A limited-edition bottling of 3,800.
