This second release of Cuvée Royale is a 50/50 blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir that was fermented in old oak barrels and aged for four years on lees.  Packed with bruised red apple fruit, it’s intensely yeasty and bold with rich, lemon acidity. Beautifully hedonistic and artisanale in style, it’s terrific value for a wine of such character.
