<p>Another wine from the fold of emerging small-production Hampshire producers, this time on the South Downs. Hawthorn, vanilla ice-cream, honeysuckle and lemon sorbet aromas emerge on the nose. Shimmeringly bright acidity precisely focuses clean flavours of lemon tart, baked lemons and lemon curd on the palate, given complexity by nuances of nougat and dry-roasted almond flakes from nearly three years on its lees. There is big flavour concentration here, displaying purity, focus and depth, wrapped around a crisp, tight, persistent mousse.</p>
