A highly unusual blend across the Pacific Northwest states of Oregon and Washington, with Pinot Noir from the Willamette Valley and Kiona's Red Mountain stalwart Lemberger (with 1% of Cabernet thrown in). This wine is a product of swapping fruit with growers in the Willamette Valley. Aromatically fresh and delightful with plenty of Pinot Noir character, fresh berries and blood orange are buoyed by pine bough and a kiss of fresh mint. The palate continues the fun with a bright freshness of Montmorency cherries, juniper, bing cherries and hints of savoury herbs. The finish is lifted, bright and fresh.
