Very complex lovely nose with notes of cedar wood, blackcurrant, damsons and coffee beans. Rich and forthright, with plenty of upfront fruit and good supporting tannins. Solid but not heavy, oaky but not to excess and with enough acidity to carry it through to a long finish. A bit gawky now, but should improve with time.
