This Grenache opens with notes of white pepper, cranberry and bright red fruit. The palate is vibrant and energetic, combining freshness with impressive structure. A bit spicy, with a slightly sweet anise note mid-palate framed by Irish coffee cream and wild mint on the finish. Partial whole-bunch fermentation and co-fermentation with a small proportion of Syrah add texture and complexity, while ageing in French oak and puncheon broadens the wine's mid-palate. Despite the cool season, the wine displays notable ripeness and concentration, suggesting excellent ageing potential.
