Anthill Farms was founded by a group of former winemakers at the famed Williams-Selyem winery, and the focus is on producing Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from their vineyards in northern California. Abbey Harris is a tiny site, located in Anderson Valley at 330 metres, and in this wine it delivers wonderfully delicate raspberry aromas that are poised and limpid. It's medium-bodied, but sleek and silky, with fine tannins and acidity giving intensity. It's restrained but elegant, and very persistent. An exemplary cool-climate Pinot.
