Sourced from Zeitgeist in Coombsville, this Cabernet Franc is so enticing, so savoury, and so wonderfully dark-fruited, with pure, silky, inky black fruit and warming spice. Plenty of robust tannins layer in density, while loads of toasty oak and loamy earth spices build intrigue, and everything is dusted in unsweetened cocoa powder, like the perfect dark chocolate truffle from the best chocolatier in town. The tannins are powerful and grippy, if perhaps a bit drying on the finish, but wow, this is one bold Cabernet Franc that is going to deliver loads of pleasure.
