Sourced from the Frias Family on Spring Mountain, just about two barrels were produced of this fantastically fragrant, full-bodied, robust mountain Cabernet, positively bursting with blackcurrant and cassis fruit notes, loamy earth, leather, tobacco, and crushed violets. This is a dark, brooding, powerful mountain Cabernet that is incredibly pleasure-packed and, frankly, so intense and powerful that it can be enjoyed now for its youthful hedonism and burly, well-integrated tannins, or savoured over a decade or more of cellaring as greater complexity unfolds.
