The 2020 Limited Release is comprised entirely of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon free-run juice and was aged in 20% new French oak (225-litre barrels and 500-litre puncheons) for 20 months. Winemaker Ana Diogo-Draper has crafted a tightly knit, elegant, nicely structured Cabernet. Pretty red berry aromas mingle with dried thyme and sage, and cedar. Medium-to-full-bodied showing a nice depth compact ripe fruit, redolent of boysenberry and plum with cherry pit atop very fine, firm tannins. A lovely red-toned mineral character marks the long finish.
