From Stanly Ranch in Carneros, this Pinot Noir is the kind of Pinot that Cabernet-lovers will relish in, as it is the result of a very late pick--an intentional choice, according to winemaker and owner Chris Radomski. So it's more lush and full-bodied. The wine is aged in second‑use French Cabernet barrels for two years, and aged another year in the bottle. This Pinot is bold, full-bodied, and rich, fabulously brown-spiced with dark, bold cherry fruit, and an ultra-lush palate feel, with all this warming spice of cinnamon, cardamom, and coriander, a hint of incense, and oak char. Flavour-packed, long, with a lingering silky richness that continues to coat the palate, just beckoning another sip. As One Cru was established in 2016 by founder and winemaker Chris Radomski, formerly co‑founder of Hundred Acre and Layer Cake, with Ehren Jordan serving as consulting winemaker.
