A 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from a site in Coombsville, aged for 20 months in 80% new French oak. The ripest of the three Baldacci wines was sampled in early September 2024 during a tasting of 2014 vintage Napa Cabernets at the Napa Valley Vintners in St. Helena. Richly earthy, it offers notes of baked plums, cherries, cola spices, tanned leather, sandalwood, and white pepper. Full-bodied, with well-integrated chalky tannins and a finish laden with salted dark chocolate and loamy earth.
