Natural Cork

Deep ruby. Expressive dark berry nose laced with mocha. The expansive, indulgent palate of red currants and plums is well knitted together by soft tannins and held up by fine acidity. There is a pleasing savoury undertone to this GSM blend, possibly emanating from the Mourvèdre (23%), which develops on the palate and is more prominent on the finish than at the forefront. The acidity counters the nearly 15% alcohol wonderfully well, taking the heat out of the wine and allowing the ripe fruit to feed your appetite for a second sip.
