Pure black cherry with some dusky tobacco notes over the top. There’s a lovely sense of purity and clarity to the aromas. Light-bodied and fresh, with a light dusting of fine tannin and balanced acidity. This really shows the potential that this grape has for a light-bodied style of wine. No great length, but it’s so drinkable and refreshing. Best drunk slightly chilled. The first vintage was 2015, and it wasn’t made in 2017. Matured for six months in used barrels.
