It’s in the middle of the appellation, at 1600ft, on the west side of the Santa Cruz Mountains, amidst redwoods and oak trees. The Old Corral is the estate Pinot Noir in a watershed gap. This wine is 100% whole-cluster, comprised of Mt. Eden Swan and 122 clones. Vines between 15-16 years of age are hitting their stride. Juicy and bright with ample savoury depth offered by the whole cluster. Notes of amaro herbals, pine sap and fir tips on the nose. Juicy and elegant red berries, sweet spice and a touch of sweet earth on the palate. Straightforward and delicious.
