A very ripe and fruit-driven Syrah from Bouchaine and Carneros in the Napa Valley. Spiced plum and blackberry aromatics give way to cinnamon and black pepper notes. The palate is lushly black fruited and viscous. Dried figs and black cherry predominate a core of dark fruits, baking chocolates, Christmas spice, and a dusty cocoa powder, carrying the fruit-laded palate to its ripe conclusion.
