A very ripely styled Pinot Noir, from the Reed Vineyard within the Mt Harlan AVA of San Benito County,on limestone soils at nearly 700 metres. The site was planted in 1975. Aromas of ripe blackberries and spice, with a hint of mint and sweet juniper scents on the nose. The palate is intensely fruited, plums, sweet blackberries, and a note of berry pie carries through the finish.
