The Selleck Vineyard sits on Mt Harlan at about 670m, planted in 1975 on limestone soils by late California Pinot Noir visionary Josh Jensen. Made using 100% whole-cluster fruit and indigenous yeasts, and aged 18 months in 30% new French oak barrels, the aromatics balance ripe fruits and ocean salinity as intense boysenberry and mountain huckleberry spill forth with a mineral edge. Complexity and savoury, with ripe plums and rich macerated strawberries bringing fruit in waves as warm brown spices carry to the finish.
