The palate is immediately fresh and transparently fruity, all white pear and cut apple, with the signature surge of acidity that drives through the palate and on right through the finish and beyond. Perfectly ripe and elegant, there is nothing taut or unforgiving in this style of Chenin, making it true to its more laid-back Californian home. Lovely expression of both the grape and its origin.
