Natural Cork

Deep ruby red. Expressive, aromatically pure-fruited, all dark red berries, candied cherry, cassis and plum. Barely any hint of green leaf. In the mouth, the wine is equally redolent of dark fruit, dark chocolate and baking spice from barrel age. Dense but not heavy, compact but with a silty, fine-grained tannic structure that makes the mouthfeel supple and comforting. Drinking beautifully already, the ripeness of a great vintage is immediately appealing but the wine will hold for six to eight years and continue to develop and mature with ease for at least a decade after that.
