This is from Gary’s, one of America’s iconic Pinot Noir sites. It is done in a field-blend site, which Adam does owing to the older vines, fresh and mineral throughout, which helps keep the fruit in line. The rocky soils, almost like cobblestones, go into this wine. There’s a chicory root spice character here, and wild strawberries, that are lively and fresh through the finish, invigorating, lively salt, crushed minerality. It's a delicious wine, fresh and vivid.
