From a 9ha plot planted in the mid-90s, all Martini clone was originally planted for Korbel sparkling production and grafted over to Calera clone later. Dry-farmed 30-year-old vines offer showy aromas with lots of fleshy red plums and white pepper. The palate shows sweet plums, clove, and ample juicy fruit. The eastern morning sun rising helps Cobb achieve a bit more ripeness in this wine from a more inland warmer site.
