This vintage is reputed to be easygoing and fruit-forward, but this wine shows remarkable density on the nose, which is rich in black fruits. Very rich and suave, it also shows a light and attractive herbal tone and some red fruits. The tannins are integrated, and the finish is fresh and perky, with admirable length.
