It is attractive and spellbinding, with wonderfully fragrant black currants, graphite, and tobacco nuanced by fragrant cedarwood. Medium to full-bodied with soft, seductive black cherry and spiced plum fruits laced with tobacco leaf and white pepper. Intensely powerful mountain tannin frames more savoury Bay Laurel and sagebrush notes through an extended, invigorating finish. Founded in 1973, Conn Creek Winery is situated on the eastern side of Napa Valley, just off the Silverado Trail. Best known for its Bordeaux-styled wines, Elizabeth DeLouise-Gant has been the winemaker since 2017. Previously, she worked at Beaulieu Vineyard, Tamber Bey, and Stag's Leap Wine Cellars.
