This 100% Petit Verdot was de-stemmed and optically sorted. About 65% of grapes were whole berry-fermented in barrels and the rest was tank fermented. Gently pressed to barrels for ageing and malolactic fermentation. The result is richly layered red showcasing ripe boysenberry fruits and violet aromas with a hint of spicy garrigue notes. Medium-bodied with ripe, sappy tannins and rich flavours of juicy, muddled plum, turned earth, and creme de cassis on the finish.
