A very beautiful wine with excellent cellaring potential. Aromatically, it shows bright fruit, fresh wild herb character, and vivid slate-like minerality with earthy undertones. The palate carries real levity, supported by a crisp tannic backbone and a firm spine of acidity. Rose and cedar accents linger gracefully in the glass. Aged in new French oak with a small portion ageing in concrete amphora. Sourced from Continuum’s Sage Mountain Vineyard on Pritchard Hill, comprising 42 distinct vineyard blocks planted between 400 and 490 metres in elevation. The views of Napa Valley and beyond are breathtaking. The wine is nothing short of extraordinary.
